Cape Dwarf Chameleon Preservation
A private estate in Durbanville has seen an explosion of Cape Dwarf Chameleons population in the recent months, after many discussions with specialists it has been decided that preservation of the species far outweighs removal from the estate.
The proposal is to erect a perimeter fence around the area to mitigate thoroughfare and human interaction to this protected species.
Thus allowing the local residents to enjoy the spectacular species in their natural habitat with as minimal threat to the population.
Maluuk Explores is actively driving conservation efforts for the species, actively educating the residents and fundraising to secure perimeter fencing for this localized area.
